Why Every College Graduate Deserves a Graduation Session (Especially Now When Graduations Are Getting Cancelled)

Graduation. It’s the moment you’ve been looking forward to since you set foot on your university’s campus. You can hear the graduation theme song playing in your head just thinking about it and you can’t wait to throw your cap high into the air with your fellow classmates to celebrate four (more or less) years of a lot of fun and a lot of hard work.

But then Covid hits and pretty soon you’re saying adios to the graduation you always pictured in your head. No pomp. No hat throwing. No graduation theme song. No speeches (but maybe that’s a good thing, am I right? ;D )

I’m not going to lie, it kind of sucks. I was part of the famous “Class of 2020” so I was among the first group of graduates who didn’t get the graduation ceremony they expected. I get it. I was beyond bummed.

But graduation definitely doesn’t have to go by without pomp or celebration or a little graduation cap throwing. (Because if you didn’t throw your cap in the air, did you even graduate??)

In every graduation session I am there to celebrate YOU. You know there’s going to be a whole lot of cheerleading, cap throwing, celebrating, and even a little champagne or sparkling cider popping (if that’s your thing 😀 ).

Because you DESERVE to be celebrated! You deserve to have a moment that’s all about you and your accomplishments. You’ve worked hard the last few years and you’ve accomplished something real.

Pictures should be more than just documenting your success. They should be a form of celebration! So, let’s celebrate!
